ok i know this is a 6th gean site but i have 90' gts with the piss poor 5fste and i want to put the 3sgte but mines and automatic can i still put the motor in ?

Stock gt-gts 5SFE Stock alltrac- 3SGTE you can do the swap. All you need is a full longblock with ECU and harness. The point of concern here is the strength of the 5S tranny. You will need to look into getting an MR2 TURBO tranny and modifying the driveshafts from the MR2 to fit the GTS. If you don't want to do the trans work, the stock 5S tranny should hold up IF you don't get too boost happy. (so yea you'll be looking for a new tranny soon after the swap.  )-------------------- ~bloodMoney
