I would take alot of time to research weather or not the AWD 205 diff will be able to handle being RWD only. You should find out some detail about that 5th gen with the V8. That was RWD, you should see what rear they used. Also look into gearing, I dont think a rear diff would be geared the same as a RWD. I never got to detailed with the info I was looking at, just the basics.
You should really have one project thread, this way we could all help you find the right rear end or other things that you may need. Not only would it help you, but it would add greatly to the site. --------------------  I will return one day. |
