My smog is due soon in california but I would like to pass with out paying some dude extra. I'd like to do some more upgrades before the two year deal. Couple questions,
If i had the stock intake, one cat removed replaced with strait pipe, and one high flow cat you guys think i could pass cali smog (visual test) legally? Is true you can not pass smog with a header that is not carb legal? -------------------- ![]() |

I dont think i was clear enough with my question. There would be a cat on the car, just one, it would be a high flow carb certified. Visually the car would look fine because it is not uncommon for cars to have just one cat.
Dunno, just trying to get around the law, legally. Too bad there are no carb certified headers for 6gcs likw there are more popular cars with just as little hp. -------------------- ![]() |
