I bought a 90-93 accord intake like a couple people suggested on another post and i got it today....wasnt really what i was expecting..i thought it was 2 pipes but mine came in 1...so i took everything out of the box..they gave me the pipe the filter and all the clamps i needed...took out the old box..cut the pipe to fit..n these are the results:

I have read many things about the MAF sensor and possible problems it can cause by not being there. "The MAF sensor is there to measure the volume of air drawn into the engine. It is used to determine the load on the engine. If the engine load isn't measured correctly, the car doesn't know how much fuel to inject, when to fire the cylinder or when to shift the transmission". (http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/h34.pdf)
