Ok, since I'm totally ignorant to electrical issues and installing things such as head units, I figured I'd ask. What all would I need to do if I wanted to install something in my car? Say I want a double-din (as I do), what all would I need? Do I need an amp for that or can I just plug it up? New speakers? Plug-in-play? I guess all I really assume is that I wouldn't need an amp until I get subs because of the extra power needed. Or am I wrong? Thanks for the help!

As long as your double din has speaker outs (pretty much all do) you should just be able to grab a harness adapater that adapts the Toyota harness to whatever make of head unit you get and it will run your speakers
