 question for gt4 owners |

what are these 2 brackets for, on the upper bumper/rad support support? are they just there to give a little added support to the top of the bumper cover?

Theres nothing mounted to them and tbh Im not even sure that they support or contact anything?.
Thats my car so Im pretty sure of that
