I'm looking into buying a stock 98 GT Conv. The rear suspension feels a little soft. Any idea on how much it would be to at least get it back to factory? I'm not interested in any lowering kits, so it's a little hard to find info on OEM shocks/struts.
Thanks! |

Not even a slight drop like the Eibach Pro-Kit [1" front and rear] and others? I'm sure you could get stock replacement springs anywhere from the dealer to parts shops but I would think they will cost as much or more than drop springs.
Why would you not want a drop? TRD or Sportline springs [same thing just the drop is slightly diff] are OEM ride quality and the drop greatly improves the looks of the car. If it feels really loose in the back the springs/struts are probably worn out so be aware that like Malpaso found out it will raise up when you put new springs on. It looks like an off-road vehicle stock ![]() Maybe take pics of the way it looks now and we can tell you if it is sagging and whether or not it will raise with new OEM springs.
