FT: Momo steering against stock steering Options

Hi y'all!

So i'm trading my MOMO steering since it came with my car when i bought it, but i then realize that where I live it's illegal to remove the air bags...

Therefore, if i dont change it and i'm involved in an accident, my inssurances won't cover me...

Anyway, whoever wants a MOMO steering and as a BLACK OEM steering and wanna trade, lemme know

Oh and YES i do know that it worths 300$ but still i dont care since it's not legal on my car

did your bags blow on your car? you might want to check that, if they have blown and that steering wheel is just a replacement, simply adding a driver airbag isnt going to fix the airbag system, you would also need a passenger airbag, front crash sensors, and airbag ecu.

on the same token, i believe anybody removing their steering wheel is going to make the whole airbag system malfunction and their passenger airbag/sensors/ecu will be worthless.

so i would suggest buying an airbag kit and then selling the wheel to recoup the costs.

Honnestly, I dont think it has blown... i looked carefully in the engine bay and it's all mint... no rust no aftermarket paint no nothing that could lead me to think that the car as been involved in an accident; not even burned oil...

I checked the fusebox and the SRS fuse is still there (not even burned) and i dont have any light on my cluster, is that normal?

And i have a GT so that means no airbags on the passenger side...

Oh and to let you know, down here in Quebec, our laws regarding airbags are different from yours; if the bag blows up, the car is immediatly considere as total lost by the SAAQ (the ones that give away driver lincences and car registry)... and mine isn't...
