I descided that today I was going to replace the rotor on my front drivers side so see if it would get rid of the evil noise that the car has had for year. So i get down to the rotor and It seems impossible to get that thing off. laugh.gif I sprayed the back of it with some wd40 *making sure it dosent get on any boots cause it will eat em*
and i used a hammmer and some wood, i was pounding on it for an hour, and still no dice.
Anyone got any tricks?

I already put it all back on, i didnt find what looked to be a peace of sandpaper that was rubbing on the side of the rotor, but when i put it all back together it was still makin the noise kindasad.gif . kinda sounds like if you put a some sand in a bottle and slowly rotated it, Its hard to explain wink.gif

Also i was wondering if i needed to replace my pads, they looked liek they still had a good quarter of an inch on em, there wagners that i got a year ago.

Hmm, now i just gotta get the screw and it should work out pretty well.
I should prolly jsut get a rubber mallet instead of using a hammer and wood, i thought i could do without spending more $.
Iv also come to the conclusion that the sound is a bearing kindasad.gif . I thought they were only high pitched sounds, but upon researching more it seems they can make the gravel like sounds to.

While i was down there today I also saw this IPB Image
I was reading something bout rubber stoppers they put on mr2's in shipping from japan, and then that caught my eye.
