I'm well aware that they put vin number stickers on the hood, rear hatch, the inside edge of the quarter panels, both doors, even the front bumper beam has a sticker. I opened the hood on this celica and both fenders did not have vin stickers so I was thinking it was in a accident. The sales guy said all cars don't have them. Can you guys tell me if any of your celica's have vin stickers on the inside edge of your front fenders?

QUOTE(Hanyo @ May 19, 2007 - 2:16 PM) My 97 celica has all the stickers. you can see the stickers on the fenders when you open the door and look between the hinge. The hatch also has a sticker. You have to remember these stickers are exposed to the elements. So dont expect them to stay on forever. These stickers are not the best way to tell if a car has been in major accidents. Because you can replace the fender do to a small parking lot accident. These small crashes dont affect the car's structural integregrity at all. Thank you Hanyo so thats where they hide them. I drove 450 miles to look at this car only to walk away from it for the wrong reasons. |
