I pulled my spark plugs today for the first time since i bought the car, around 157k, now its at 167k.
1 and 4 were clean as a whistle however they were stock and the gap was rusty and way way off. ![]() 2 and 3 were oily, the gap was clean but the rest of the assembly was dripping in oil until about 3/4" from the top of the plug. What is the problem and is it fixable? also the brand of the old plugs were denso, has anyone ever heard of them? thanks! |

It is an easy fix. you will need to buy the gasket and a tube of seal packing from Toyota. Denso is the major supplier for Toyota. Most Toyota OE parts are made by Denso. Basically, when buying new spark plugs, go for Denso or NGK. -------------------- _Gary
