First off, i know this question has been asked several times before, but i was speaking with a friend about swapping my engine, and i told him it would be a direct swap for my celica GT and he is a mechanic and said i could probally get it swapped for aroud 400 dollars, now is this true, and if so how much could i find a 3rd or 4th gen 3sgte for? Also are the 3sgte's the same in mr2's or does it have a diff tranny/motor mounts? Thanks for the help everyone

and the tranny does bolt right up. your FWD trans will bolt up to the 3sgte engine. BlkGT, you live in sarasota? i got a summer house down there.
