when i start my 97 5sfe engine : sometimes it revs up and then just stalls , and other times it idls on very low RPM when it is supposed to be high ! and i had to press the gas pedal and rev it a lil bit untill it gets to normal .........whats wrong with it ? what can i do to maintina my engine and what kind of additives should i use to keep my engine running smoothly ....

I have been researching and regarding to my really rough idle i came up with this :
- it could be the idle air control valve - some sensor ) oxygen , MAF) - weak engine mounts - Auto tranny problem also the car is really rough when not moving and in Drive , when i turn on my A/C the rpm drops instead of going up !! i would like someone to tell me how to clean my idle control valve , change my oxygen sensor and tell me something and the engine mount thing ( sounds like a big problem ) , how much would it cost to fix or renew ?
