I bought a lambda on ebay to hopefully help my extremely poor MPG. Lambda on ebay
The wires on this lambda are white, white, black, grey. Its bare wired. The one on the car is Blue, white, black, grey/white(i'll have to look at it again it was dirty) any ideas how to wire it up? thanks |

OK, you connect the each white wire on the sensor to one of the black wires on the car there are 2 whites on the sensor and 2 blacks on the car - it doesn't matter which connects to which as these are for the heater.
Then you connect the black wire on the sensor to the blue/grey wire on the car - this is for the signal. Finally connect the grey wire on the sensor to the white wire on the car - this is the earth. This assumes that USDM colouring is the same as UK colouring though and that your universal sensor has the same colour wires as the one I used ![]() If your colouring differs for any reason it's not difficult to work out which is which with a multi-meter i as you have 2 heater wires which you should get a constant voltage across and should be the same colour.
