you can replace the motor anytime, you will have to remove your visors, rear view mirror and headliner to get to it, then their are about 6 bolts holding your sunroof in place, best to have a friend help cuz it wieghs about 50 lbs. I'm good at doing by myself now. once sunroof is out you jsut unbolt the motor from the sunroof. THen get a new motor and bolt in on and put everything back toghether. trst me get a motor from ebay,...parts and labor is riduclous no matter where you go...i reearched.
expect about 30 min to take out and 30 -45 to put everything back to gehter...all tho now I can do it all in 30 min i know so much about this cuz i had a nightmare story...my sunroof stuck in the dead of wnter wide open and i was force to use duct tabe for a month, man that sucked......once you get it closed keep it closed till u get a new motor -------------------- ![]() |
