Swaped a 2.2 for another 2.2 and had some problems because it was my first time to work on a toyota. Well I got the car put back togeather and it will run but if you touch the gas it will die. At times you can slowly increase the rpms but it is touchy. I checked all the vac lines and replaced the hole throtal body with the one off the other motor, still no diff. so not I am thinking fuel filter or pump. If filter I plan to upgrade to a newer chevy filter for better flow and it cost about $30+ cheeper. What would a better pump cost? Or could it be something diff?

Jk about the chevy filter! I have an oem on order and will pickup after 12pm. As for the car I do have big plans for the engine so a bigger pump will be needed with external fuel regulator. I just priced a pump at AZ it $139.95, so how much for after market? I want +600hp, looking for turbo and nos kit now.
