QUOTE(celiracer @ May 30, 2007 - 12:23 PM) Idk how hard it would be. But it would be sweet to see one with a 3s and RWD. That would be pretty sick. Or AWD. 3s swaps into RWD celicas isnt hard, its one of the more common swaps for older celicas. Theres a guy on classic-celicas who has 3 first gens, 1 with a 3sgte in it, 1 with the S2K motor and another with a 3TGTE in it. I love first gen celicas, sooo many swaps to do, most cars are soo clean, and they r just pure sexyness. and what about the gearbox???? which one do they use? any W series RWD trannies, you just need a diff bellhousing. Im thinking if i get some extra $ coming in and i finish up the bodywork on my 83, swapping in a 2nd gen 3sgte into my 83. Theres a guy on one of my car clubs for my 83 that has a full conversion kit with the 3sgte for $1500. |
