alright, i have some minor dings in the fenders i just purchaced. nothing to pay hundreds of dollars to fix so i thought i could do it myself. what would be the best way to do this? and when i do it should i go ahead and sand the paint off b/c i am prolly going to paint them to match my car. i thought about using one of those dent pop removers but idk anyone that has actually used one. any help is welcome. thanks in advance.

how deep are the dents?
you can try to hammer them out. Make sure you use a flat peice of metal or wood inside the fender between the hammer and fender. And have a solid flat surface to hammer against on the outside of the fender. Lightly hammer around the edge of the dent and work your way till you reach the middle of the dent. If you did it right you should have popped the dent back out. Then you just need to sand it down to metal, apply bondo, primer, seal, and paint. |
