any1 have sleep problems? Options

on a serious note. i have always known i have sleep problems, i thinks its bcuz i lay awake and my mind wanders and that makes me very anxious and keeps me from sleeping. Does any1 else suffer from sleep problems and if so what do u do or take to help you? I am think i am gonna try a sleep aid, but i know that they r highly addictive. any1 take an OTC sleep aid?

I dont take anything for mine. Sometimes I will lay in bed and then all of a sudden my mind goes to worrying about things like - if there was a fire what would I grab - IE my bunny, my cell phone, make sure my parents were awake and then try move the celica out of the driveway. I sometimes find myself worrying about the day when my parents are both gone and i start crying.

At times I will have no problem going to sleep but then I will wake up in the middle of the night ( i wake up on average about 2 - 5 time sa night) and find my wandering and not being able to go back to sleep for an hour or longer.

I deal with it because I hate taking pills and waiting a week or two for them to kick in.

that is exactly how i am, i start to worry about irrational things, but i have no trouble sleeping during the day. i think its bcuz my house is full of people and at night i feel very alone. its like at night i am my own worst enemy. And honestly i have not sleep for more than 4 hours at once in like 15 years.
