Alright well i'm going to take out my back seat in my coupe.. i know some people are probably against it but.. since i'm only 17 i'm only allowed to have one other person in the car, and the coupe back seats are small enough already to barely even fit people in it.

My idea was to get two subs build a custom box in where the back seat was.. but i don't know anything about building a box that would sound good?

i'm going to use ply wood i think.. not sure yet.. but how hard is it to take out the back seat? Is it bolted in? because if it is.. i can just use the holes to bolt the ply wood on.

My new idea.. is just buy 2 subs already in a box and just cut holes in the ply wood to fit the subs that already have the boxes.. Then wrap the ply wood with car carpet stuff.. i'd have the subs on the part where the bottom of the seats are.. than on the back rest part of the seat i'd have ply wood and bolt the amp to that. (2 amps, one for the subs, one for the speakers..) in my mind it seems like it should work.. i might skecth out the layout later.

will this work?

Seats aren't that hard to get out if you just find all the bolts and have the tools. Your design seems like a good one to me. I'm in the boat where i want to remove the back seats and just carpet the metal and plexi glass the hole to the trunk but I always end up driving my friends around though so I can't bring myself to create a 2 seater. Good luck!
