I was talking to a buddy of mine from highschool the other day about his car. He has a 99 si civic. Well to get to the point he took out his a/c for weight and throttle upgrades...haha..I had to laugh..he claims that it was over 50 pounds he eleveated (sp)..which i dont really doubt but also said that he has better throttle response too. He was talking about the pullys not having to strain as much now..Anyway I was wondering your guys thoughts on it..respectable or ricer?

I had my A/C belt off for about 8 months after my compressor locked up and I could tell a pretty big difference. A power pulley set is supposed to give you back some of that lost hp though.
