Turbo Manifold Options

Hello guys!... im in a proyect with an ST202 with a 3SGE engine, the question is that the engine block its the same that the mr2 or the celica all-trac(3SGTE)... I need to buy a good manifold & i dont find manifolds or turbo kits for my 3SGE... Anyone can help???

How can you compare a V8 300-350bhp to a L4 250bhp concerning rods. Per rod the L4 needs stronger rods then the V8 because it needs to hold more power.

Very true. I'm just saying the 3S's rods are very strong. The comparison to the V8 rods is only because they were laying on the table next to me.

but the alternator its in the same place

The alternator on the MR2 is located where the power steering pump is on the Celica or Curren. Therefore, there is more space for the exhaust manifold on the MR2. Some aftermarket manifolds for the MR2 will hit the alternator if installed on the Celica. It's not an issue of 3SGE versus 3SGTE, but rather Celica versus MR2.

You would also need a 3S-GTE oil pan since it has a seperate oil feed/drain line

Actually, the oil pan's are the same, only the port for the oil return is not drilled out on the 3SGE. He'll just need to drill it out, and buy the oil return hose (part number 15491-88480). Another option would be to drill and tap, then use a AN fitting.
