i'm shopping for a sportbike now guys, for a summer ride. Something in a 600cc - preferably an older model (affordable) ... i dont mind the bike being carb'd, just as long as it has relatively low miles and has been taken care of. Any brand/model recomendations - i really like the looks of a Ninja zx-6 w/ the ram air...maybe a CBR ... R6 ? any personal opinions? maybe you know some1 that has a nice bike for sale? help me out here

Your choices would be the gsxr600, the Yamaha R6, Honda CBR600, or the Ninja zx6
Dont go with a triumph like someone mentioned up above. the parts are expensive to replace because it is not as popular. And there isnt much of an aftermarket for it. If i were you, I would get an older model of the bikes mentioned above. Their newest models like the 00+ are always gonna be faster and depending on your skill could be too much for a beginner. Get yourself a used and older bike. that way if you drop it or lay it down for anyreason... you dont have to worry about it being your Brand Spankin New R6 or CBR's paint job. good luck man and be safe QUOTE(shin @ Jun 9, 2007 - 5:03 AM) hyabusa LOL your crazy! thats practically a death sentence for a new rider This post has been edited by eggman40: Jun 9, 2007 - 4:49 PM |
