EDIT>
First post.. this a quote from a local guy when i asked him about the supras map sensor. "MKIV's dont really have MAP sensors. They run on a MAF from the factory, but they do have a "turbo pressure sensor" that doesnt do anything other than tell the ECU when it overboosts." Is that what im looking for? Yes, the MKIV run on MAF, not speed density (MAP based)
However, similar to 1st and 2nd gen 3sgte, they do have "turbo pressure sensor" for fuel cut and what not. (the only different is that 1st and 2nd gen 3sgte use VAM not MAF sensor) Toyota call it "turbo pressure sensor", but it is actually a "MAP sensor" BTW, SC300 (or IS300) does not have what you need. It is 1JZGE, not 1JZGTE. (2JZGE in IS300) So it has "vacuum sensor" instead of "turbo pressure sensor" This post has been edited by Gary: Jun 10, 2007 - 10:38 AM -------------------- _Gary
