Has anyone used a supercharger on the 5s-fe and if so what kind of power are u getting? remember this is a daily driven car and i want to get away from the normal turbo.

Mainly, i would like a SC just because the Orange GT is built so well and i love the top end of it, i thought as a DD, a SC would be fun because of the low end power, the sweet sound, i don't want to swap, and it is something different. the other thing i am worried about is the engine. i'm on 198,500 miles on the original engine, tranny, and clutch, so i want it to last

whats the diffrence reliability wise between s/c vs turbo? either way, its boost. properly built, a 5sfte setup will last just as long as any S/C setup out there.
if your looking for low end power, how would this do you?:

200 FT lbs by 2750, and 270ftlbs at the wheels by 3250rpm is hitting early and hard on a 5s.
your gonna have to run ALOT of boost with a s/c to get those kinds of #s down low.
the extra displacment, and design of the motor really helps build low end torque in these motors.

your not gonna gain any reliability on a 5sfe with a s/c vs a turbo.
