I got a great deal on some Boston SX55s a while ago but they were for my old car. I never got a chance to install them on it and I am hoping to replace the blown speakers on my celi i just bought. How can I fit in 2, 5 1/4" speakers? How to anyone? Thanks!

You can use some MDF (medium density fiberboard, from lowes, home depot, etc.,) and cut out a spacer for it. Outside diameter the size of the opening (most are 8" but they can vary, so check) and inside diameter 5.25" or whatever size speaker you have. Some wood screws and sealant and you're all set.

the door speakers have 8" holes and the rears are 6.5" with a smaller speaker though you will need an adapter for both. his method should work without a problem.
what stock speaker system do you have though? 4, 6, or 8 speaker? my guess is the 4.
