I got a great deal on some Boston SX55s a while ago but they were for my old car. I never got a chance to install them on it and I am hoping to replace the blown speakers on my celi i just bought. How can I fit in 2, 5 1/4" speakers? How to anyone? Thanks!

QUOTE(DSToyo @ Jun 14, 2007 - 6:49 AM) ^ yes those are tweaters. so if im getting this correctly, the rear speakers are 6.5" and the front are 8"? the door and rear speakers are 6.5" stock. the speakers in the door however are placed in an 8" hole. so you need some sort of adapter for them to fit. that is why it is possible to mount 8" subs in the doors if the subs are shallow enough. personally i want to do that but i won't until i can find some 8 speaker sytem door panels. -------------------- |
