Hey guys this morning I was going to work I took the highway then exited off and came to a stop then noticed the passenger rear wheel area was smoking !? It looked like I did a burnout !! But I know our cars aren't RWD, their wasn't a good spot to pull over and I was running late to work so after work I came home and took the wheel off inspected everything looked normal even had a friend come check it out everything was normal. But I noticed it had that burnt rubber smell you guys know what I'm talking about.....any clue what that was ?? And I was going maybe 60mph on the highway. Also when I took the lug nuts off it burnt my hand @#$% !!!!!

probably your caliper pistons are getting stuck. i had the same problem before on my driver-side rear. there was smoke coming out of the wheel and it smelt like burning asphalt or something...

Yes !! I think thats the problem today coming from work I felt like rear pass wheel was saggin my car down it did feel like the brakes or caliper locked up on me everytime I come to a stop then once I hit the gas it releases. How did you fix your problem just new calipers ?? I checked my brake pads too they cracked on me, damn autozone lol last me 2 months. But I knew my pads wouldn't last I just bought them because I needed some pads FAST !! biggrin.gif

List to do

1. New pads
2. New rotors
3. New brake fluid
4. New caliper ??
5. Other misc brake stuff
