So I bought a 94 GT that was someone else's project car. It originally had a set of coilovers, which I don't believe were even installed correctly - and the height adjustments were completely jacked - but that's not the point. I purchased a set of Eibach 1.5" lowering springs. During installation, I noticed the rear struts were missing the spring seat (which apparently has to be removed if using coilovers, any input on that?). So all I have is the strut support top hat. No shop around here is able to get the part seperately, they want me to purchase an entire rear suspension kit (no thanks, already purchased new struts and springs).

Does anyone know of a place where I can purchase this part seperately? I haven't had a chance to check out the local import junkyard.

My other question, does anyone know if other models of Toyota's from the same generation might have interchangable parts? (I.E., Camry, Corolla) as those are probably easier to find being parted out than Celicas.

If a picture would help explain what I'm looking for let me know and I can post one. Thanks!

I had my roommate call around to local auto parts places (he works at Jiffy Lube and gets discounts) and nobody locally would sell them individually. They all wanted me to buy the entire strut/spring assembly. I'll go talk to my hookup at Parts Plus.

Any links/recommendations on shops to go to?

Thanks for all your help!
