Auto 3S shifting on it's own., New ECU did the trick. Options

My car is shifting on it's own now. I installed a new 5S ECU for the transmission this morning and took it for a spin and everything worked... 1, 2, D, OD. I'm still not 100% sure what went wrong with my stock ECU but it probably has something to do with my uncle "helping" the day I made the bracket for the ECUs.

The shift points seem higher than they were stock for some reason. I assume it's because of the different igniter. This is fine with me though the 3S power band is higher than the 5S anyway.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, this was probably due to my jubilation causing me to keep the gas pedal mashed to the floor.

When I was trying to get my stock ECU to work I connected more signal lines to the ECU than are probably needed, so I'll more than likely try removing as many wires going to the 2nd ECU as possible and see what the bare minimum is to make this work.

Funny thing is it took me all of 20 seconds to plug this thing in and I've had the new ECU since the beginning of the year... Talk about procrastination.

When your at full boost, what is it?

I'm at waste gate pressure for the time being 6-7psi

Do you precieve there to be any problems by say doubling your current boost? Many memebers here run 12 and 14 psi (some daily) on there 3s and 5s swaps with Manual transmissions. From your expierience thus far what do u think?

Without driving "spiritedly" are u on boost regularly or off boost?

mostly on boost during acceleration. virtually no boost when cruising.

Have u ran the car with o/d off, so u have Higher RPm or manual shifted your automatic to push it into the higher RPMs therefore prolonging boost.

also, as you drive the car while in Drive, do you go on and off boost when shifting from one gear to another. (the question i guess is, when do u initally start to create boost? If you start at 2500rpm to create boost, and u go from 2ndgear at 3500rpm down to around 2000rpm into 3rd gear, you'd drop out of boost then have to respool.)
