<rant>Just got my new iRotors and Bendix ceramic pads yesterday, so I took her into the shop for what I thought would be a two hour job. When I was just starting to put some effort into the right rear caliper bracket's bolt that holds onto the caliper, all of a sudden SNAP! $#%^! So, ok, not a major set back right? I do have a bolt extractor set. So, this afternoon I went back to the shop with Dad and got started on the bolt. Took the bracket, drilled out the bolt, hit it with some PB blaster, and then proceeded to once again snap something else. This time it was the so called "hardened" bolt extractor. Snapped that s-o-b right off inside the drilled out bolt. AAAGGGHHH!!
Just needed to vent.............</rant> |

Heated it up a couple times with the torch and tried a different bolt remover.......SNAP again. Needless to say, much swearing was heard in my shop today. Anyways, I was gonna try to redrill and tap, but the hole is a tad off center and wont work. Uggghhhh...time for some junkyard hunting..........
