What is the best size of tire to put on 17 and also 18 inch rims so that it would looks good and not rub or anything on a stock hieght car , would it throw off the speedometer??

If you were to get 17's do not get 225/40R-17 tires.
I mean, you can get 225 if you want, but for a 7" wide wheel (which is what most 17's are anyways) I would suggest 215/45R-17 -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
