You don't really need a tripod for still object unless you are in bad lighting condition.
Combination of S3's image stabilizer + ISO setting + shutter speed setting should be more than enough. But I do carry a tripod in my car ![]() Slick Sprint Pro ![]() -------------------- _Gary
