Need help on installing the stock headunit, what did i miss?? Options

when i bought my car...
it came with this headunit


and here is the wire :


i took all of it off today and left with this wire:



i am trying to put this factory headunit into my car and finds out that the hole for me to connect is not the same as the old one




can anyone point me out what do i need to plug those wires in?
did i miss anything?

probably not. you see, the stereo you have now doesn't have a built-in amplifier like most toyota stereos. it requires a factory toyota amplifier to hook up to it and then wired to your speakers.
if you really want to use that stereo, then you'll need the 6 or 8 speaker harness and amplifier.
