You Guys/Gals of 6gc have been a great help , my check engine light went on and am freaking out !!
here is what happened , i got cutt of , so i floored the gas pedal in order to yell at the driver rpm went up to about 5200 on an auto tranny 5sfe engine with 98440 miles on the clock , then i turned on my a/c , then my cruise control --> then i noticed the light well , i know how to get the diagnosis going with the lil wire or paper clip , my question is where do i get the codes ????? also , what could it possibly be ??? note: i dont regularly rev my engine past 4000 , so i am not that much of an agressive driver This post has been edited by NaderG: Jun 23, 2007 - 7:37 PM |

There is nothing wrong with revving engine pass 5000 rpm.
Your car has OBD-II. So, bring it to an autozone and have them check the malfunction code for you. -------------------- _Gary
