im wondering how to manually open/close the top. is there something you need to disconnect/release before you can do this, or do you just overpower the motors?

my motors are working fine, but i think i have a loose wire, as the top will open then stop (sometimes halfway...). I dont think its the motors because when the top wont work, the motors aren't making any sounds (like they are on) and it happens very randomly. When the roof is closed, and i push the "close" button sometimes I can hear them working and others no noise, so I will try and check for a loose wire, but until then how do i do it manually?

Mine takes like 10 seconds. Its quick enough I can do it at a red light (if the light just turned red)

Off topic, but where are the japan/euro verts "converted" at? AFAIK 90% of the vert in NA are converted at asc (american sunroof corp), with the exception of cars that have a seperate convertible chassis (corvette -> chassis = coupe or convertible) Is this right? Or am I on glue? Does toyota make convertibles in a toyota factory?
