anyone interested? will take pics tomorrow. someone could use this as a drop in filter instead of getting a whole brand new intake system. taking best offers.

no its just the injen air filter itself. u can take off ur stock airfilter box and attach this one.

Cool. Now just one question: if i were to install just the filter, what do I do with the sensor that's connected to the stock filter box?

you'd need to install it. you'll probably run rich or lean without it installed and might throw a check engine light. I don't think you should run JUST the filter on there. go get a section of 2.5" pipe (steel, aluminum, aluminized steel, it doesn't matter) with like a 45* 75* or 90* bend (you'll want to measure your engine bay to find out what will fit). drill a hole in the pipe and using the stock rubber grommet, install the air temp sensor. now put the filter at the end of the pipe, and voila easy made short ram.

if you want a full geniune injen intake, I'll have mine for sale in less than a week or so after I start work on my turbo.

Thanks for the tip. Is yours SRI or CAI? Will it fit my 3SGE?

it's a SRI, it fits 5sfe's
