Car stalled, will not start Options

I have a 94 Celica GT. It started up fine and I drove for about 5 minutes. I stopped at a light and then when I hit the gas it moved forward a little bit and then the car stalled. I am not able to restart the car.

I am not a car expert, but the engine seems to be trying to start but does not ever seem to actually start.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a fuel system problem u might have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

Edit:Before starting your car press on the gas pedal all the way down once and try to start it again. DON'T DO THIS MORE THEN TWICE sorry just a warning I should give you.

Why not more than twice? Does this rule apply only for our cars or for all cars?

That applies to all cars your engine will be flooded with gasoline if you do it too much.
