3SGTE swap, how much? Options

hey wats up guys? i dont know whether i should sell the celica and get a car tahts already turboed or swap a 3sgte in it. i dont really wanna 5sfte. im from north jersey and i wanted to know if anyone knew a place around north nj or south nj that would be able to do the swap? how much does it cost for labor to install it? i found a 3sgte clip for $1500-2000 on eBay so id like to get an estimate as to how much its gonna cost to install it and stuff. anyone?

oh really? hm thats not bad.. i MIGHT swap it.. i WOULD do it myself erik but i dont have the time to.. i would if i did but i rather have someone that has experience do it. did you install yours yourself? or did you have a place do it for you? if you did it yourself ill pay you to install it hows that sound? oh and do u kno of a shop that could do it? familar with toyotas and stuffs

this is not like going to a shop for a tire change, where they change them, you get the car back, and never think about it again. the idea here is to do the work yourself and learn as much as you can. that way, if any issues come up down the line, youll know how to fix and diagnose them. most shops do a rush job, and a lot people had nothing but major problems when dealing with a shop. do your own work and learn about your car, man.
