I have a 94 Celica GT. It started up fine and I drove for about 5 minutes. I stopped at a light and then when I hit the gas it moved forward a little bit and then the car stalled. I am not able to restart the car.
I am not a car expert, but the engine seems to be trying to start but does not ever seem to actually start. Any ideas? This post has been edited by flemb: Jun 26, 2007 - 2:07 PM |

I tried the pressing the gas pedal thing and that did not seem to help. I have not had a chance to have someone listen near the gas tank when I try to start it to see if the fuel pump is operating.
I am not sure about the timing belt off the top of my head. I gave the car to my nephew for a few years and got it back a year ago. Is this something I would be able to see visually or is the timing belt totally encased? |
