After nearly six years of owning it, I'm selling my Celica. It's a '94 Celica ST with 145,000 miles on the car, and about 75,000 on the drivetrain. It's a great looking car that's a blast to drive and has no problems. I'm selling because I'm tired of having the same car for so many years and I'm going to buy something different now that I'm done with the car.
Engine AE101 20 Valve 4A-GE (Factory ITBs, 160hp) AE111 ECU (More aggresive tune than AE101, and allows for open ITBs) Exedy Clutch EMPI Velocity Stacks 2.5" Exhaust The car runs perfectly and doesn't burn any oil or grind any gears. I just recently partially shaved and tucked the engine bay myself (and replaced the clutch and many tune-up items while I was at it). It currently does not have power steering, but I originally had power steering after the swap and still have all of the parts to put it back on. It also has no A/C. Suspension Eibach Sportline Springs KYB AGX Shocks/Struts Suspension Techniques Rear Sway Bar ST185 Celica All-Trac Front Disc Brakes (10.9", Brembo Rotors) ST185 Celica All-Trac Rear Disc Brakes (10.5", Brembo Rotors) 17x7" Exel Wheels 215/45/17 Kumho Ecsta Supra Tires (90% tread on back, about 75% up front) The car handles and brakes pretty well. Brakes are practically new, as are the struts. Exterior JDM Dealer Option Front Extensions Replica JDM Dealer Option Sideskirts Replica JDM Dealer Option Rear Extensions Replica TRD Wing I painted the entire car myself a year ago, and the paint is in excellent shape. The front bumper has a few rock chips, but that's it. No dings, dents, or scratches. Interior Alarm/Remote Start/Keyless Entry TRD Short Shifter Clarion CD/MP3 Player Cadence 6.5" Component Speakers running off Profile Amp Xtant A1040A 10" Sub running off JBL Amp Sound Deadened Trunk/Backseat Area/Door Panels The interior is in great shape. The car has a full black and gray interior with power windows, locks, and mirrors. It also has a very nice alarm system that I installed, complete with battery backup. The only thing wrong with the car is it has a salvage title. But only because it was vandalized very badly while parked outside my house. The vandals tried to pry open the trunk, keyed nearly every body panel, broke a window, cut nearly every part of my interior (seats, carpet, door panels, dash) to shreds, and broke my entire dash and center console. I had full coverage so insurance came and looked at it and totalled it out. I bought the car back and have since replaced the entire interior, trunk lid, and repainted the entire car. The car has been through the Washington State Patrol inspection and passed, and I have the title, along with paperwork and photos to prove what caused the salvage title. The car has never been wrecked, nor stolen. Because of this, I'm selling the car for $4,000. It's your chance to have a nice, wire-tucked, quick car. Some people have told me it's almost show ready...that's not my sort of thing, but it is a really nice car (at least I think so). I'm in no hurry to sell, and am open to trades. Below are a few pictures. More are available in my profile. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

QUOTE(ILuvMyCelica95 @ Jun 27, 2007 - 3:46 PM) Coomer- not to clutter your thread any futher but can i ask why you are selling it? You just got everything completed and it truly is one of a kind... i'd think you want to actually enjoy it for a while no? QUOTE Well, to clear things up, I've thought long and hard about this, and I think I am going to sell the car. I did what I really wanted to do; I built a really nice Celica. It's one of a kind, and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. That said, I think it's time for me to move on. For one, I rarely drive it. In the last two years, I've put maybe 7-8,000 miles on the car. I keep it garaged at home most of the time and don't drive it much at all, even though it's a blast to drive. Second, I graduated and I'm moving away. I'm sure I won't have a garage where I'm going (at least at first), and this car really deserves a garage and a nice place to wash it and keep it clean. Third, I'm just plain tired of building/having the same car. I've had the car for five years and ten months. And I want something new. Yesterday I sold my G20, and with that money and the money I'd make selling the Celica, I could start a new project. Yes, I want a Del Sol. I've actually got my eyes on a H2B Del Sol. I also kind of want an EF Civic. And I kind of want a '99+ G20t. I'm not sure what I'll end up getting, but I know that I want something different. To be honest with you guys, I'm kind of growing tired of building cars. My real passion is developing websites and web applications, and if I do sell my car, I will keep on running 6GC just like I do now. So there are no worries there. My passion for the Celica has really been gone for quite some time...but lately I've been more passionate about developing 6GC. So yeah, I think I'm going to sell the Celica. From a car standpoint, it's time to move on. But don't worry, I'll still be here posting on 6GC, hitting up 6GC meets, further developing the site, etc. And who knows...if the right opportunity presents itself, maybe I'll build myself another sixth gen. sometime. -------------------- |
