hey all, i was looking online at some 3sgte clips and noticed how much cheaper the mr2t clips are then the gt4 clips that and i wouldn't have to get the tranny separate.
i know that there are some things diff between the gt4 3sgte and the mr2 3sgte. my Q is how much will have to be changed to drop it in my car? i have the gt so (from what i understand) i won't need to change the motor mounts. but other than the normal 3sgte swap stuff what extra will be needed to put the mr2 motor in?
if there is a thread about this already and someone know where it is please point me in the right direction.

The GT tranny runs out of go on the top end, its very noticable, at least for me it was.

With the E153, you can spread it out over a longer period of time. So while the S54 has the shorter gears, you go through them faster, and run out of steam quicker. I very much like the E153 more in that respect.
