I'm nearly finished with the swap. Just need to know if its necessary to get a new fuel pump and exhaust. I know its recommended, but I'd rather save some money and do it later. I've already spent 3800 and I dont want to spend anything I don't have to.

i would NOT trust a 10+ year old, underpowered to begin with for the application fuel pump, when a suitable replacement pump can be had for ~100$ shipped, and installed in under an hr.
also, your not including the fact of the factory FPR on the 3s, which raises fuel pressure 1lb for every lb of boost. that tells all that needs telling about what will do what. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
