Ok guys I will try to get a sound clip of my car but I don't even know if you guys would be able to hear it. When I drive my car and until around 2k RPM my car makes a kind of cat like purring sound. I know that sounds completely off the wall but thats the closest thing I can compare it to. It does it all the time and really doesn't go away until I get above something like 2500RPM. Any help on this would be great. I have noticed that when I start my car in the mornings it seems like there is more smoke than usual (I know my valve seals cause this but it seems like there is more smoke than usual coming out.)

My timing belt and water pump were done no more than 6 months ago. I keep the oil changed every 3k miles, and I just had my radiator flushed right before the timing belt and water pump.
