If you guys get more creative on where to search for a car you'll probably find some good deals out there. Theres a '94 GT in WI for $2600 right now. If its still available. Looks to be in good condition. '94 GT in CA for $2500. Another '94 GT with a 3sgte swap that needs work in CA for $3000. A '95 GT in Florida for $2500. Any 6th generation GT under $3000 in good condition is a good deal to me. You should broaden your search and test drive some 4th generation GT-S. Toyota had some nice features on those. Every car you see listed anywhere can always be bargained down.

Actually, if you know what you're looking at and if you know what you're buying they can be the best deals around. It all depends on your ability to see a good deal when you find one. For instance.. I just bought a nice 5th gen gt-s with a 2nd gen 3sgte swap for $900. The kid and his mechanic couldn't get the car running. I bought it, towed it home and got it running that same day. Now I'm currently using it as my daily driver untill I'm done changing the clutch on my frustrating Corolla alltrac. Good deals are everywhere as long as you know which ones they are. |
