if i was to hollow out my cat... would it have an effect on my computer and make the check engine light go on? and also does anyone know the exhaust piping size on stock GT's? thx in advance

No Why hollow it out? Unless it's clogged it might add 1 hp to your power. It also might drop it. When you add a random large space it can disrupt exhaust flow, causing it to slow down. the purpose of that would be because i was planning on buying a header and a high flower muffler and it would be pointless with cats that prevent high flowing air ... also.. it is a lot cheaper than buying an exhaust system -------------------- ![]() |
