 Anybody ever really think about death? |

At times, when im bored i think about death and what if there is no afterlife. Just the thought about being nothing for eternity is kinda scary. Anybody else have these thoughts?

Reason why I ask, is because when I was getting my wisdom teeth removed I had to be put under, and as I was breathing in the gas, everything just slowly faded out into a fuzzy darkness, and well... that was it. I was out cold. I know I wasn't dead, but in a way it kinda felt like I was about to be when everything went black and I couldn't breathe all that well (obviously b/c of the gas  ). It was also weird waking up from anesthesia when it seemed like you were just receiving it because during that time period your body was just nothing it seems like, and then you suddenly come back. after that experience it kinda made me feel that thats what dying might be like... You just kinda go and well... thats it, nothing happens... But keep in mind this is coming from a person who doesn't really believe in any afterlife or religion... so to me it felt like thats what happens. haha thats the best way I could explain it. isn't that just like going to sleep every night? minus the gas part
