There is and online auction im looking at for a ST205 3SGTE Turbo, this claims tthis manifold and turbo will bolt straight on to an st202 celica. Is this true and will there need to be any other mods to the ST202 to get it working? (It is a CT26 Turbo and manifold)

Instead of getting low compression pistons, could you not just put in a thicker head gasket?????

Thicker headgaskets are not a good way to reduce the compression ratio of a motor. It ruins the squish area and results in a poor running motor if overdone. Correctly dished/shaped pistons are the way to go.

That said, the ST205 manifold only fits on the later 3s-ge and 3s-gte motors. A second gen 3s-gte manifold and the turbo from a ST205 would work just fine. Plenty of posts on here explaining what all is needed (see the sticky at the top).
