I didn't have the money to buy some strut bars right now but I really wanted them. So, I decided to try my hand at making some of my own. They feel great and the handling is much improved. Here are a few pics.

Yes the markers are shaved. I liked the look without them. For the cross bar I used 3/4 in hollow square tubing. It is really strong and only cost about $14 at Lowe's Home Improvement.
