I've had my 94 celica gt since it had a 112,000 miles on it and now its up to 217,000! Still no major problems, runs great, looks good, clearn interior. I just changed my key light, climate control, and clock to red. I put the clear side markers on it. I have about 200-250 bucks to do whatever I want....the engine is completely stock.
I was wondering if anyone had any opinions. Would it be foolish to stick a short ram air intake on an engine with that many miles, or a new header? If I don't do either of the two I'll probably buy the 90-93 clear turn signal lights and a new auto knob, wiring the OD button somewhere else to make it look cool....and maybe a new red aftermarket radio. I just don't know what to do!! Any opinions would be much appreciated! Thanks! |

I already had maintenance done to it recently. There's nothing wrong with anything on the engine, suspension, brakes, or anything. I've pretty much babied this car and always have everything checked up on. What is a 3sgte? I don't know anything about the diff. engines I just know mine is a GT and the 2.2 L.
From reading about intakes I think I'm just going to take the bottom of the air box out....anyone know how to do it? And add a drop in K&N filter to save money. Thanks for the suggestions though! |
